Understand  Bitcoin Markets with Technical Charts

Bitcoin markets have had an interesting journey from late 2011. There have been massive run-ups in price and long periods of going sideways. During 2015, Bitcoin markets outperformed world stock markets and currency markets by quite some margin. On two days in January 2016, we have seen major adjustments downwards – some in line with other markets and some not.

I was asked whether one can use Technical Analysis to understand Bitcoin Markets. There is no better way to do this than to start with a blank chart and identify what is happening right now.
